Explorations into Past Life Issues

Active Ghosts at the Museum Today

I had the best day at work today. I got there about a half hour before my coworker did, so I said good morning to the ghosts and started nattering away to them like I always do when I’m alone there. Suddenly, I felt this intense feeling of being loved. It was so strong that [...]

Halloween Ghost Story – Haunted Dolls

They aren’t kidding about the dolls! The guests on the ghost tour at the Kelton House sure got their money’s worth Monday night. I told the story about the dolls there: I was working the ghosts tour last year, and the other docents and I were deciding who was going to be on what floor [...]

2009 Columbus Ohio Ghost Tours

The information for Columbus Landmarks Foundation’s yearly ghost tours is now up. The tours are a lot of fun. If you are in the area, please check them out. I will be doing story telling for several of the tours including An Evening with Sophia & Fernando, sort of. I will also be telling fortunes [...]

Reincarnation Goes Mainstream?

I was looking at a list of new shows for the new tv season and was pleasantly surprised to see a listing for a mid-season replacement show on FOX called “Past Life.” The premise is that a psychologist and a cop solve old murders through the resurfacing memories of the people that the murder victims [...]

My wonderful mother-in-law passed away last week. Those of her children who lived out of town stayed at her house when we came up for the funeral. The night of her funeral, my other siblings went over to have dinner at the house of my brother-in-law who lived nearby. I was dead on my feet [...]

Oldest WWI Veteran Dies

Henry Allingham, the oldest surviving WWI veteran died yesterday.   This comes on the heels of a week when I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about WWI.  That really is a forgotten war, which is a shame.  There were some advancements in technology that made it a particularly gristly war.  Anyone who lived through [...]

Wanna Hear a Ghost Story?

It’s 84 degrees and steamy out and it’s not even 10 am yet.  I am so ready for Halloween and the crisp, cool fall weather to get here.  I can’t rush the weather, but I can at least console myself with ghost stories. As it happens, I am a writer and story teller for The [...]

Free Readings at the Kelton House on June 28

I will be giving free mini-readings to guests attending the Rainbow Tea at the Kelton House in Columbus Ohio on June 28.  It should be a lot of fun.  The tea has a zodiac/fortune teller theme.  These readings will be three card past-present-future readings instead of my usual past life readings. It takes too long [...]

Musings on Spirit Communication

A friend of mine asked why a medium might pass along a message from a deceased aunt that she likes the new curtains but can’t tell her anything more distinct? In my case, I find that spirits communicate with me largely through images, song lyrics, and feelings. They can show me new looking curtains combined [...]
